The most important thing in life is being popular. Boy Toy Star is a political satire told through the lens of 6 musical superstars, each representing a different musical genre.  The opera covers a wide spectrum of themes as it shifts from pure absurdity to vulnerable reflections of life in a society obsessed with fame, consumerism, and sexuality.

This project is the brainchild of Audio Video Disco's creative director who has been working on it on/off as a hobby project over the past 8 years. For this behemoth undertaking a wide range of designers, illustrators, musicians, actors, costume makers, and sound engineers have been brought in to contribute.
